1 cup Shredded Coconut
1 cup Chopped Pecans
1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 Stick Butter or Margarine
1 package (8 ounces) Cream Cheese
1 lb. Confectioner's Sugar
Oven Temp ~ 350°
Baking Time ~ 35 -
Pan Type ~ 9 x 13 inch pan
Mix coconut and pecans, sprinkle onto bottom of pan. Mix cake as directed on box,
pour on top of coconut and pecans.
Heat the butter and cream cheese on low heat, just until you can stir it easily. Remove from heat, add the confectioner's sugar and stir until well blended. Spoon cream cheese mixture on top of cake mix.
Bake German chocolate upside down cake carefully.
The cream cheese mixture will sink to bottom; forming a creamy layer between the cake and coconut pecan mixture.
