2 baked (9 inch) Round white cake layers, cooled
2 cups Boiling water
2 pkg. (4 serving size) Any flavor sugar free Gelatin
1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed

Pan Type ~ two 9 inch round cake pans
Place both picnic cake layers top sides up,
in clean 9-inch round cake pans. Poke holes in each layer evenly with large
fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
Stir boiling water into dry jello gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 minutes, until completely dissolved. Pour jello evenly over cake layers. Refrigerate picnic jello cake for 4 hours or more.
Dip one of the cake pans in warm water for 10 seconds; un-mold onto serving plate. Spread cake with about 1 cup of the whipped topping. Un-mold second cake layer; carefully place on top first cake layer. Frost top and side of picnic jello cake with remaining whipped topping. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. Decorate as desired. Store in refrigerator.
