Pineapple Orange Sunshine Cake Recipe

PINEAPPLE CHEESECAKE FROSTING
1 (20 oz.) can

1 (9 oz.) container |
Crushed pineapple,
un-drained
Sugar
Cheesecake mix ( Royal or Jell-o) *
Sour cream
Cool whip, thawed |
* save graham cracker mix for another recipe later.

Oven Temp ~ 325°
Baking Time ~ 15 - 20 Min.
Pan Type ~ three 9 inch cake pans |
Preheat oven, grease and flour pans.
Combine cake mix, oil, eggs and
oranges; mix at medium speed of electric mixer 1 to 2 minutes or until
almost smooth. Spoon into prepared pans. Bake until done. Cool cake in pans
for 10 minutes; remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks. Spread
frosting between layers and on top and sides of cake. Store in refrigerator.
Frosting
Combine pineapple, sugar, filling from
cheesecake mix, and sour cream; stir until mixture thickens. Fold in whipped
topping, mixing thoroughly.
