This is my favorite vegan chocolate cake recipe.
A super easy fudge cake that’s perfect with a dusting of powdered sugar.
No Eggs, No Milk and still the best one pan cake around.
1 1/2 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Cocoa
1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
2 cups Flour
3/4 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
3/4 cup Vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups Water
1 1/2 tsp Vinegar
Oven Temp ~ 350°
Baking Time ~
Pan Type 9 x 13 inch cake pan
In an ungreased 9 x 13 pan - yes ungreased, sift all dry ingredients.
Add the liquids and stir just until blended.
Bake One Pan Fudge Cake for 25 minutes.
Frost with your favorite frosting. One pan cake is extremely moist so care must be taken that you don't tear up the top.
Chilling the cake in the freezer is a quick way to cool it before applying frosting.
