Crushed cinnamon graham crackers replacing the flour in this quick and easy homemade cake. Laced with apples and walnuts, it's a tasty snack or dessert.
1 cup Granulated sugar
1/2 cup Margarine or butter, melted
14 Cinnamon Grahams, finely crushed (about 2 cups)
1 medium Apple, peeled, cored and chopped
3/4 cup Chopped Walnuts
2 Tb Powdered sugar
Oven Temp ~ 350°
Baking Time ~ 40 -
Pan Type ~ 8 inch square pan
Beat eggs lightly in medium bowl
with wire whisk. Add granulated sugar and margarine, mix well. Stir in
cinnamon graham cracker crumbs, apples and walnuts until well blended.
Spread cinnamon snack cake batter evenly into prepared pan.
Bake snack cake until firm to the touch. Cool completely. Cut Apple Cinnamon Snack Cake into 16 squares to serve. Sprinkle cake with powdered sugar just before serving.
