This whipped cake is famous for cool and creamy texture. Top is enveloped in flavored whip cream frosting. It's easy and makes a wonderful end to a perfect summer day.
2 cups Whipping Cream
1 cup Sugar
1 1/2 cups Cake flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla
Oven Temp ~ 375°
Baking Time ~
Pan Type ~ 2 8-inch pans
Whip 1 cup of cream, drop in eggs 1 at a time. Continue beating.
Add vanilla and sugar, fold into the dry
ingredients (Do not beat batter).
Pour whipped cream cake batter into your prepared pans, bake for suggested time.
Remove from oven.
Remove from pans, cool completely and frost.
Whip 1 cup of cream with sugar to taste or you may also add 1 banana or 1 cup of crushed pineapple to the whipped cream.
