Milky Way Wonder Cake Recipe

Milky Way Wonder cake recipe, has six Milky Way Candy Bars in it!
No other cake will quite be the same after you have tasted this creamy rich, buttermilk Milky Way Wonder cake.

6 Milky Way candy bars
1 cup Butter margarine
2 cups Sugar
4 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 1/2 cups Flour
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 1/4 cups Buttermilk
1 cup Chopped nuts

Oven Temp ~ 350°
Baking Time ~
Pan Type ~ 9 inch fluted tube pan
Preheat oven, grease fluted tube pan.

In a medium saucepan combine candy bars and 1/2 cup butter or margarine. Melt over low heat, stirring until smooth. In a large mixing bowl cream remaining 1/2 cup butter or margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each addition. Add vanilla and melted candy. Beat until light and fluffy. Combine flour and baking soda. Add alternately with buttermilk to batter. Fold in nuts. Pour Milky Way Wonder cake batter into prepared pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted near center comes out dry.
The top will be quite dark. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool wonder cake completely on wire rack.
