Orange Holiday Cake Recipe

Orange Holiday Cake with fluffy White frosting and Candied Oranges

I like to decorate the sides of Orange Holiday cake with candied orange slices, but quicker options are sliced almonds or chopped pistachio nuts. Decorate the top with sliced berries, but always wait until just before serving, so the fruit color doesn't bleed onto the cream frosting.

12 Eggs
3 cups Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
4 cups Flour
1 cup Orange juice
1 cup Oil
3 tsp Vanilla extract
4 tsp Baking powder

Oven Temp ~ 350°
Baking Time ~
Pan Type ~ 2 Large round cake pans
Preheat oven, spray pans with non-fat cooking spray, flour pans.

Mix the eggs, sugar and salt together very well (preferably with beaters). Once mixture is fluffy, add in the flour, orange juice, oil, vanilla and baking powder. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
Pour Orange Holiday cake batter into prepared pans and bake orange cake.

Frost the cake using our White Snow Cake Frosting
You can also make cup cakes from this recipe. Orange Holiday cake always turns out great. You can even add some cocoa to half the mixture. A definite Holiday favorite!!! ENJOY!!!
