A little tweaking on this box cake recipe and nobody will ever guess that this was not a scratch Berry Pound cake. The smooth texture added by the cream cheese, combined with the sweet flavor from the berries, makes this one of the best berry pound cakes I have ever made.

1 box Butter flavored cake mix
8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Oil
3 Eggs
2 cups Berries (blueberries, mixed berries, etc.)

Oven Temp ~ 325°
Baking Time ~
Pan Type ~ 10 inch tube pan
Preheat the oven, spray cake pan with Pam.

Mix together the cake mix, cream cheese, oil and eggs. Fold in berries, pour into a prepared pan. Bake berry pound cake until toothpick comes out clean. I have used frozen blueberries (12 ounce) and mixed berries (16 ounce). My family likes the mixed berries just fine. I have topped this pound cake with a vanilla powdered sugar glaze.
